Our Story
Custom Tech Operations was born out of a simple observation: most small trades businesses are underserved when it comes to technology.
After more than ten years working as a Mechanical Designer and CAD specialist in the manufacturing industry — focusing on automation, inspection fixtures, and quality systems — I saw a consistent pattern. Small business owners in trades were struggling in technology. They were either overwhelmed by too many options, locked into expensive subscriptions that never quite fit, or losing critical knowledge every time an experienced team member left.
Most technology solutions on the market are built for larger companies or force small businesses to change how they work just to fit the software. The market is saturated more than ever with the Saas (software as a service) model. A model that delivers software over the internet on a subscription basis.
I started Custom Tech Operations to change that.
